With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Elaine F. Rezzonico, 55. Elaine passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, at home in Cheyenne, Wyoming, on May 16th, 2024. Elaine Rezzonico was a beloved wife, an amazing mother, a caring grandmother, a friend, and inspiration to all.

Elaine was born in Oxford, England on June 30th, 1968, to the late Frank Stevens and Carmel Myers. She grew up in Upper Heyford, England, but made multiple houses homes in various towns across England and the U.S., as life took her around the world as a devoted military wife.

Elaine Stevens became Elaine Rezzonico, upon marrying Jon, on December 12th, 1987. Together they raised three wonderful children and became devoted grandparents to two (soon to be four) grandchildren. Elaine cherished every moment with her family.

Before retiring, Elaine worked for Johnson and Johnson doing medical import and export. Though a tireless, dedicated, and ambitious worker, Elaine’s primary focus was always on family, friends and loved ones. Her real career was being the rock that supported her family, the glue that held it together, and the joy in her family’s day-to-day lives.

Elaine loved spending time outdoors, whether it was hiking mountainous trails, walking one of many dogs, riding bikes with her husband, gardening, or entertaining guests with yard games, great conversation, and endless laughter. She enjoyed traveling around the world, never shying away from the opportunity for adventure (or relaxing on a pristine beach with a refreshing drink). She was a strong warrior of a woman, who loved intensely, defended fiercely, and lived mightily. As her family grew, so too did her unmatched ability to be the matriarch and cornerstone of it. Though she enjoyed more hobbies than can be counted, she most enjoyed spending time with her family and loved ones. The activity was of no matter, but rather, the company. She supported her husband’s military career, her children’s every endeavor, and her grandchildren’s early years. She was everyone’s biggest fan and source of comfort.

Elaine touched so many lives. She was a loving wife/partner, mother, grandmother, and friend to all. She will be remembered, and deeply missed, for her positivity, humor, work ethic, perseverance, compassionate spirit, kindness, selflessness, charitable nature, and unwavering courage. These traits will continue in the hearts of everyone she knew.

Elaine is survived by her husband and partner of 38 years, Jon Rezzonico. She is also survived by her beloved daughter, Melody (Brad) Grady; her beloved sons, Justin Rezzonico and Connor (Kaity) Rezzonico; grandchildren, Declan Grady, and Frankie Rezzonico; and grandchildren to come, Brewer and Stevie. She is also survived by her very dear siblings, family, and friends in England.

Family and friends are invited to the Celebration of Life service. This is not a formal event - casual dress is encouraged. Please feel free to join the family in wearing Hawaiian print or colorful outfits to honor Elaine's vibrant personality and love for the Hawaiian Islands.
